Community Tax Clinics
Womanspace Resource Centre offers free income tax filing support for eligible women in Lethbridge and surrounding communities. We want to help you remove barriers to accessing financial benefits and equip you with the tools you need to move forward with confidence. We are here to support you.
Many women miss out on critical financial benefits simply because taxes are not filed. Our trained volunteers help ensure you receive what you are entitled to in a respectful and supportive environment.
Our organization and all our volunteers are registered with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), and we are proud to offer tax clinics throughout the year to support our community.
While the mission of our organization is to support women, we will help anyone in need in our community with their tax return.

Why Filing Taxes is Essential
For many women, filing taxes feels overwhelming, especially when income has changed, paperwork is missing, or past returns were not completed. Yet filing taxes is often the gateway to essential benefits that support housing, childcare, food security, and overall stability.
At Womanspace, our Community Tax Clinics are about more than forms and numbers. They are about ensuring women can access the financial supports they are entitled to. Even a modest refund or benefit payment can ease stress and create breathing room.
By offering free tax clinics in Lethbridge, we help reduce financial barriers and provide clear, respectful assistance so women can move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
How We Support You
We understand that sharing financial information can feel personal and sometimes intimidating. Our volunteers take time to explain the process, answer questions, and ensure you understand what is being filed on your behalf.
We aim to create a respectful space where women feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity. Whether you are filing for the first time, catching up on missed years, or unsure about your eligibility for certain benefits, we are here to help guide you through each step.
Our goal is to make the process straightforward, accurate, and accessible.
